Governor's Council on Fitness
As mandated in 2006, the mission of the Council is to encourage increased physical activity, healthy diets and tobacco use prevention by sharing information with Kansans and partnering with businesses, schools and individuals to promote healthy lifestyles.

HealthQuest is the State of Kansas employee health & wellness program. The HealthQuest mission is to partner with employees to improve their health and well-being and to better manage health care costs.
Healthy Kansans 2010
A cross-discipline collaborative of Kansans who came together in 2005 to identify and adopt recommendations on health priorities and action steps to improve the health of all Kansans.

Kansas Coordinated School Health is here to help your school become a healthier school. Kansas Coordinated School Health provides health resources, technical assistance, trainings and funding to create healthy Kansas students, staff, schools, and communities.

Kansas Green Schools
Kansas Green Schools Program provides opportunities for preK-12 schools to increase awareness and understanding of the complex environmental interrelationships that impact public health and the environment, and promote environmental stewardship practices that relate to air quality, climate change, solid waste reduction and recycling, water management, and outdoor wildlife habitat.
Kansas Health Institute
An independent state-focused health policy organization established by the Kansas Health Foundation as an objective information resource on health policy issues for state policymakers and others.
Kansas Health Policy Authority
A quasi-independent state agency, KHPA is charged with tracking health care data, coordinating a statewide health reform agenda, and managing state health coverage programs such as Medicaid, HealthWave, and the State Employees Health Benefits Program.
Kansas Recreation and Park Association
KRPA advances park and recreation opportunities that enhance the quality of life through education communication and advocacy.
K-State Research and Extension
We are a partnership between Kansas State University and federal, state, and county government, with offices in every Kansas county. We are dedicated to a safe, sustainable, competitive food and fiber system and to strong, healthy communities, families and youth through integrated research, analysis and education.
Office of Health Promotion – KDHE
The mission of the Office of Health Promotion (OHP) is to improve the quality of life and reduce the incidence of death and disability from chronic disease and injury, which supports KDHE's mission of protecting the health and environment of all Kansans by promoting responsible choices.
Sunflower Foundation
A charitable organization charged with serving the health needs of Kansans with an emphasis on serving the poor, uninsured, and underinsured, promoting preventive health care, and supporting activities aimed at reducing the number of Kansans who use and are addicted to tobacco products.
Sunflower State Games
The Sunflower State Games is the largest amateur multi sport festival in Kansas, conducted annually across three weekends in July. SSG is dedicated to providing a forum that initiates and encourages camaraderie between different ages, socioeconomic and cultural groups through athletic competition and the sportsmanship of the Olympic spirit.
