Last summer we traveled across Kansas to gather stories from people navigating our health care system. Those lived experiences have now been transformed into “Mapping the Gap,” a powerful, collaborative textile art piece created with Haysville artist Malissa Long.
Join us at the Emporia Public Library for a reception to celebrate the art display. We will have refreshments and Alliance staff will be on hand to talk more about the piece.
WHAT: “Mapping the Gap” art reception
WHEN: Thursday, December 3, 2026 from 6:30pm – 7:30pm
WHERE: Emporia Public Library, 110 E 6th Ave., Emporia, KS 66801
We hope you’ll join us to see this unique artwork that weaves together voices from across the state into a striking representation of Kansas and our ongoing journey toward affordable, accessible health care.
